About the position

Altruist is entering an exciting phase, and we’re looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Corporate Action Analyst to join our team. This analyst role will be responsible for handling the day-to-day corporate action process, which includes, but is not limited to, dividend, mandatory, voluntary, and proxy event processing. An ideal candidate will also assist with scaling and streamlining new and current processes and serve as an SME for their areas of responsibility.

What you’ll do

  • Process the entire lifecycle of mandatory and voluntary corporate action and proxy events.
  • Review and reconcile all dividend, principal, and interest payments, including dividend reinvestments and mutual fund dividends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to facilitate issue resolution, operational improvements, and risk reduction.
  • Maintain a focus on client servicing, promptly responding to inquiries, and accurately resolving issues.
  • Contributes to the achievement of team goals and objectives.

What you’ll bring

  • 1-3 years of corporate action experience.
  • Proficiency in DTCC, back-office systems (FIS knowledge a plus), Excel/Google.
  • Proven capability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude during times of heavy volume and/or change
  • Strong analytical, research, data entry, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to understand and mitigate risk
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Series 7 and 99 FINRA Licenses Preferred, or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.

$59,000$86,000 USD

Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package along with equity in the form of Stock Options (ISOs). A salary offer will be determined by a number of factors including experience, skill level, internal pay equity, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations.
